  • @amyjoy
thank you for the friend up and creating this site!

  • @amyjoy I tried to respond to your friend request but it would not take me to that page. What do I do?

    • Hi John. If you click on your profile picture, it will take you to your profile. There you will find a menu below your profile picture, which includes a Friends link (next to the Forums menu item). If you click this, a new menu will appear with a Requests link. Click that and you will find a link of friend requests you can accept or ignore.

@amyjoy Sorry I still don’t have the option to add an event. I think I also accidentally deleted the thread we were talking in. ~Robin

    • Hi R.C. Thanks for the feedback as I get the kinks worked out. Here’s a link for a new event form: http://indiewritenet.com/add-an-event/ that I hope will make things easier.

When I try it, it works, but perhaps the system is humoring me? 🙂 Would you mind giving it a try?

      • Amy, I really want to tell you that it worked, but it says I don’t have the rights to manage this event.

    • Hi R.C. Thanks again for the feedback. I made a change specifically to your account which should now allow you to create the ads. Please let me know if you continue to have trouble.

      Have a great weekend!

@amyjoy Hello, and thank you for befriending me! I’m new to this site so may take a while to get my profile to my liking. Very much looking forward to socialising with other writers

    • Hi Alison! It’s great to have you. Please let me know if you have questions as you find your way around. 🙂

  • @amyjoy Hey there! Thank you for the add! I’m very new here and still trying to find my way around this place. 🙂

    • Hi Kevin. Glad to have you on the network! What kind of writing do you do?

  • Lisa posted an update 6 years, 2 months ago

Hi Amy, thanks for the “friending”. Your the first of many (I hope). I’m still finding my way around the site at the moment, it’s all so new.

    • Hi Lisa. Great to have another YA writer on the network. Congrats on your recent publication. Sounds a bit paranormal. Is that right?

    • Lisa replied 6 years ago

Hi Amy. Technically I suppose it has paranormal elements. But I doubt any serious paranormal reader would say it is. I never know what sub-genre I should put my Fantasy stories in, there’ so many.

  • @amyjoy Thanks to accept my friend request!

  • @amyjoy Hi Amy, thanks for the friend request. Best of luck with your writing efforts!

@amyjoy Thank you for having me. I only thought about writing when I was reluctantly pushing 70. Now I can\’t stop and my brain aches with all the ideas. It is a bit like a huge basket full of tangled knitting wool and sorting it out into strands is a very pleasant, if puzzling nightmare! Oxymorons rule!
