Judy Nickles is a former teacher, avid genealogist, intrepid traveler, Kindle-reader of mystery and suspense, and spinner of tales since she could hold a #2 pencil in her fat little fist. Upon retirement she decided her adolescent rebellion was 50+ years over-due and is now enjoying same with such activities as flying in a WW II B-24 bomber built the year she was born. She has an alter ego as “Mimi” of four, one of whom must become a writer before years of filed ideas for stories make a bonfire for her less imaginative sons.
She holds a B.S. from Texas Woman’s University and a M.A.T. from Angelo State University. After 5 traditionally-published vintage romance and romantic suspense novels, she went “indie” with two cozy mystery series set in her retirement state of Arkansas.
