Hello! My name is Terry Crawford Palardy, and I am a self-published author of six books, all posted at Amazon in print, and three also published for Kindle.
I’m a retired public school teacher, and in thirty years I taught grades one through eight, regular and special education, and also designed and facilitated staff development for the school system and for Lesley College in Cambridge, MA.
My first published book is a compilation of Phi Kappa Phi education and academics columns I wrote over a period of six years. After that, I went on the publish a second teaching volume focused on classroom stories. Then two of poetry, then one of small town life, and my most recent about a life with multiple sclerosis.
I’ve been married to Rick for forty-two years, and we have a son and a daughter, and two grandchildren who are now in high school. We are living our “happily ever after” years working together in our small Wooden Toy and Gift shop, where Rick makes beautiful things of wood, and I make lap quilts, and sell my books.
I’m happy to join this non-fiction writers’ group. I’m presently planning my next book, which will be a fiction tale, and that is a first for me, and a challenge. Wish me luck?
