Short Story/Anthology Writers 3 days, 2 hours ago“Hollow Future” is an anthology of science-fiction stories written by me, linked by themes of loss of identity in the face of new technology and strange worlds. If features six short stories (well, five short stories and a novella), all but one of which were originally published on my blog. This last, a star-spanning space opera about one…[Read more]

Short Story/Anthology Writers 1 week, 3 days agoRagnar Ulrichson, still bearing the scars from his private war to save New Atlas, is called in to deal with a routine botched burglary. Maybe he’s getting soft in his old age, or maybe something about the injured kid he finds in an alley reminds him of another scrawny kid in New Atlas a long time ago, but Ragnar takes a risk and puts his trust in…[Read more]

Short Story/Anthology Writers 2 weeks agoI’ve edited and uploaded one of my novellas to the Kindle store for purchase. “Written in Blood” is the first Ragnar Ulrichson novella, a hard-boiled twist on classic fantasy (or vice versa, if you prefer) telling the story of a broken-down private detective/barbarian hero charged with solving a high-profile murder case that isn’t all it…[Read more]

A new threat has arisen in New Amsterdam: transhuman gangs are taking over the streets and one in particular is carrying out increasingly brutal attacks against their rivals. A powerful transhuman leads them, but he isn’t the only newcomer to the city and Captain Paragon will have to contend with not only…[Read more]

Short Story/Anthology Writers 3 weeks agoLast October, I started a short fiction blog in order to give myself a regular writing outlet. I hoped I’d be able to post a couple of stories there every week and slowly build up a portfolio of work to which I could refer others. It kind of got out of hand and, well, there’s pretty much 300,000 words of fiction on there now, with stories…[Read more]

Short Story/Anthology Writers 2 months, 3 weeks agoWhat kind of short stories do you prefer? Those of the literary style – the story that pushes the boundary into the realm of art; or the genre style – which seeks to entertain and thrill?

Holy cow! That’s awesome! Quite an inspiration! Have you compiled any into a collection to sell via Amazon, etc.? If not, it may be something to consider.
An artist friend of mine is creating a cover for one of my novellas and I’ll put that up for sale when that’s done. I might collect the sci-fi stories together sometime too.
