Established in January 2012 for the purpose of connecting indie writers for support and success in indie publishing, The Indie Writer’s Network (IndieWriteNet) is now an international writing community of several hundred writers of all genres–and growing daily.
To offer a space where indie writers can:
- Connect with other indie writers around the world
- Share and discover the tools for publishing success
- Establish themselves as professional writers
- Inexpensively promote their work
To this end, IndieWriteNet offers a fully functional social network, over 25 genre and interest-based groups, three directories including Featured Books, Indie Authors, and Indie Author Services, and community sites where indie writers can share their expertise and experience as an indie writer.
The network is supported by the directory and services listings, offered as optional, inexpensive benefits to members. All other aspects of the network including the social network and community blogging are offered to members free of charge.
We invite you to explore our network, join our community, and invite your friends. The larger our community, the more potential we’ll have for the sharing of good advice and friendships to last a lifetime.
The Indie Writer’s Network the brainchild of husband-wife team Amy Joy & CN James, based in the Midwestern United States.
IndieWriteNet Founder & Webmaster
Amy Joy earned four degrees and changed careers twice before realizing what she loved most was writing (and playing with computers). Now she manages the network and writes serious and silly stories for adults and kids. Her debut novel, The Academie (dystopian YA romance) was a Quarterfinalist for the 2012 Amazon Breakthrough Novel award and became an Amazon Bestseller within months of its release. Amy Joy is also the creator of the What Happens Next?(TM) series for children 8-12, including The Princess and the Pepperoni Pizza. When she’s not writing or managing the network, Amy Joy teaches college writing. Learn more at AmysJoy.com or TheAcademieSeries.com.
